Markha Valley trek in Leh. A beauty drove place known for its famous Monasteries and Gompas. The starting point for all the treks leading to the different parts of Ladakh. The trek will give you the glimpse of amazing passes, scenic places, landscapes, local villages. This trek will group together all the tradition, adventures, and beauty of Ladakh. At the Leh airport, our professional will greet you in traditional India style with garlands and flowers. Then they will escort you to your pre-booked hotels located in the central part of the city. The day will be leisure to make yourself acclimatize in this high altitude region. In the evening you will be given a light stroll of the market.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will be driven for a complete day sightseeing of Ladakh’s famous monasteries locally known as Shey and Thiske. Main temples are filled with murals, frescoes, and statues. The afternoon we will head back to the hotel for lunch and little rest. The later afternoon will be given a long walk for getting your experienced with the trek ahead.

The day will be started with some sightseeing at Phyang. Famously associated with Red Hat sect of the Buddhist religion situated in small village 30km away from Leh. Later we will drive back to Leh and and attend a ritual ceremony at a beautiful Samkar Monastery on the outskirt of the city. Afterwards, we will move toward Pagoda which is famously known as Shanti Stupa. There we will get the astonishing views of the Indus valley and the Stok Kangri range.

The Trekking Starts!! After breakfast, we will drive to the small village of Stok, which will be the gateway to the Markha Valley. From there we will march to reach the Khilchay (4116 mtr) by afternoon. We will camp their with an overnight stay.

With an early morning trekking session, we will ascent toward Stok-La (4900mtr). Once we reach the top we will halt there for the views and some rest. And will descend to the Rumbak Valley. Will continue our trek to alongside Jingchan Nallah to reach our next campsite at Yurutse. The rest of the day will be leisure for exploring the area. An overnight stay in the camp.

We will then ascent toward the steep climb to the mountain pass of Ganda-La (4971 mtr). After reaching the top you will be amazed by the spectacular view of snow-capped peaks of Stok Kangri and Zanskar Range. After a gradual moment of rest and lunch, we will descend steadily to Shingo to reach our campsite at Skiu. With evening stay at the camp.

We will move forward with the trek through beautiful sections of Markha Valley. There we will encounter various monasteries which are perched high on the hillsides. Afterward, we will place our camp in the Markha valley (3793m). an overnight stay in the camp.
Later breakfast we will walk toward Hankar Valley. After 7-8 hours of trekking, we will arrive at Hankar (3986 mtr) in the late afternoon. Day end with an overnight stay in the camp.
After breakfast at the camp, we will move toward Nimaling (4878 mtr) and will set our camp in the beautiful meadow of Nimaling.
Today we will trek towards Nimalaing. The day will be full of exploration and leisure.
After early morning breakfast, we will start our trek to the highest pass of Kongmaru-La pass at a height of 5346 mtr. With wanderlust and glistering look we will trek down after spending a quality time at the Kangyatse peak in the distance. We will trek down to reach Martslang valley. Spending good times at the Sulphur Springs of Chuskyrmo, we will continue our wall till lovely village of Sumdo (5274 m). We will spend the night there, at the confluence of the Shang River and the Martselang stream.
The day is the completion of the trek!!!!
After breakfast, we follow the Martselung stream to reach Hemis (3400 mtr). We will spend some more time inside the monastery before getting comfortable in the hotel in Leh. The evening will be full of lavish dinner and an enjoyable atmosphere.

The day will be full of leisure and exploration for the last time. The evening will be a farewell dinner followed by cultural dance and music.
After early morning tea, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight’s to onward destination.
