Patna is the most famous place of eastern India. It is the capital of Bihar. The most popular and visited attractions of Bihar are Buddhist and Jain pilgrim centers of Vaishali, Rajgir, Nalanda, Bodhgaya and Pawapuri but Patna is more visited than these place. Patna was the hotspot of political, religious and cultural activities during ancient period. It was known by the name of Pataliputra in ancient times. Patna has a large number of tourist spots. General Information

Best time to visit: Although Patna is flocked by tourists all throughout the year, the winter months between October and February are the most preferred time to explore the region.

Culture: The tradition of wall paintings as well as surface paintings for decoration of dwellings and ritual purposes in Mithila is believed to have survived from the epic period. Intermarriages and cultural intermixing among the people of the five regions has been so common that it may be difficult for an outsider to discern the differences.

By Air: Phulwari Sharif and Patna airport is the nearest airport.

By Road: The excellent bus services and road network connect Patna to all the major cities.

By Rail: Patna Junction, Danapur are the nearest railway stations.

Duration: 5 Days/4 Nights

Places to visit: Delhi - Patna - Delhi

Day 1: (Delhi Arrival)

On the arrival at the Delhi IGI airport you will reach Delhi and will be accompanied to the hotel that has been booked in advance. After reaching hotel you can go sightseeing tour in Delhi like go for historical places, shopping in Chandi Chowk etc. After enjoying the day you will return back the hotel for the overnight stay and dinner.

Day 2: (Delhi - Patna)

After having breakfast you will go for Patna from plane or rail. You will check into the hotel Patna. After refreshment you can see the beautiful sightseeing of Patna. You will stay in night in hotel.

Day 3: (Patna Tour)

In morning after breakfast you will precede the Patna tour. You can see the Botanical Garden, Gol Ghar, Patna museum and Hanuman Mandir. You will stay in Hotel at night.

Day 4: (Patna Tour)

After breakfast you will continue the Patna tour. Today you will see Shaheed Smark, Agam Kuan, Khuda Baksh Library etc. Then you will free for shopping. You will stay in night in hotel.

Day 5: (Patna - Delhi)

Last day you will return back to Delhi from flight.
